Designed by Mel Pardue, the Benchmade 550-S30V Griptilian is a proven all-purpose EDC folder. Its 3.45-inch sheepsfoot blade is ground from CPM-S30V stainless steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC and finished satin, giving it strong edge retention and easy touch-up sharpening. The textured black nylon handle keeps weight down while stainless liners add rigidity, and the ambidextrous AXIS lock opens and closes smoothly for right- or left-handed users via dual thumb holes. A reversible tip-up pocket clip allows left- or right-side carry. Open length is 8.07 inches, closed length 4.62 inches, blade thickness 0.115 inches, and weight is approximately 3.8oz.
